In 2016, I began my journey in midwifery after being inspired by my dear friend who was also training to become a midwife. Midwifery immediately felt like home and I felt immense peace believing that this was exactly what God was calling me to do. Midwifery care has taught me so much and has changed my entire approach to life, my relationship with women, and it has given me such a
greater capacity for compassion and understanding. I was blessed to have been under incredible and seasoned midwives as a student midwife. After my 5 year internship, I graduated from the Association of Texas Midwives academic program and became licensed in 2021! I strive to provide truly personalized care, and treat each woman as a whole person. It's a humbling experience to be invited into a woman's most vulnerable spaces, and I am honored to walk with women while they're growing their families.
I'm married to my best supporter and the biggest out of hospital advocate, my sweet husband Brendon. I love the outdoors and a big cup of coffee! No children yet, but our two puppies and cat keep us very busy!

In 2016, I began my clinical training with Family Birth Services in Grand Prairie, Texas. It was there that I attended my very first birth, with many more to follow. I graduated from Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training Program in 2019 and obtained my state license after two years as an intern.
I love getting to build relationships with the women I serve; each appointment I not only want to provide you with care but a listening ear and a judge-fee zone. I strive to preserve the natural process of childbirth by empowering and educating my clients. I want everyone who I walk alongside in their pregnancy to feel that they were given all the information possible to achieve the pregnancy and birth that they want.
When I'm not serving mamas and babies, I love going on walks with my daughter, cooking, drinking coffee, thrift shopping, geeking out about nutrition and nontoxic living, and spending quality time with my husband, family, and friends.
Sarah is not taking new patients at this time.
I've always admired and loved holistic lifestyle, including midwifery. By bringing over 10 years of business experience, I get to be in the midwifery world without getting my "hands dirty". I love to help families through this miraculous stage of life by assisting in the administrative tasks, so the midwives can put their full attention on you and your growing family. Having personally experienced holistic care with Sage during my own pregnancy, I know you're in great hands. Outside of work, I love staying home with my husband and son on our homestead with a warm cup of coffee in my hand.
